Graduate Scholarship

The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships for students intending to pursue careers in public service. Scholars commit to working in public service for at least three of the seven years after they complete their Foundation-funded graduate degree.

Students must be endorsed by their undergraduate institutions to apply.

Deadline: Early February

Award:

• $30,000 for graduate or professional school
• Additional professional development, fellowship, and leadership training activities & programs

Eligibility:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree full-time at the time of application, and either at junior-level academic standing or at senior-level academic standing in the third year of enrollment
• Open to US citizens and US nationals (including those who expect to receive citizenship by the time scholarship awards are made)
