Udall Scholarship

The Udall Foundation awards scholarships to undergraduate students committed to issues related to Native American nations or to the environment.

Students must be endorsed by their undergraduate institutions to apply.

Deadline: Early March

Award:

  • Up to $7,000 for educational expenses
  • Summer orientation for Scholars
  • Access to the scholarship alumni network

Eligibility:

  • Open to US citizens, nationals, and permanent residents
  • Must be a sophomore or junior at an accredited college or university in the US
  • Will be enrolled as a full-time bachelor’s degree student while receiving funding from the Udall Foundation
  • Further eligibility requirements exist for each of the Tribal Policy, Native Health Care, and Environment tracks (see the program website for details)
